How cute is this personalized insert!

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending my boyfriend's cousin's wedding at The Venetian in  Garfield, NJ. The wedding was so beautiful that I just had to write a post about it! I've worked quite a few weddings recently, but of all that I've seen, this wedding was the most stunning by far.

The couple was married at St. Clare's Church in Staten Island, NY. The ceremony was really touching and you could tell that it was personal to the bride and groom. It was a full mass and ceremony, which has become sort of a rarity lately. Many couples don't want to sit through a full mass for their wedding - that is if they are even getting married in a church. But why not? After all, marriage is a sacrament! Of course, church settings aren't for everyone and that is totally understandable - but if you are going to take the time to have a ceremony in church, I recommend making it a full mass. You can choose your Scripture readings and the priest will give a beautiful homily. While it may seem more time consuming, I believe it is worth it in the long run. Plus, it gives you a chance to soak in the wonderful memory of marrying the love of your life!

Here are the beautiful wedding programs...

The Venetian is a stunning venue in and of itself, but this couple did a great job planning their wedding. Everything was perfect - from the food and music, to the flowers and cake. Walking into the cocktail hour, guests were greeted with a seating chart (I 100% prefer seating charts to place cards!), a table with pictures of the couple and a framed copy of their wedding invitation, and a beautifully colorful signature drink bar!

The couple chose to have an extended cocktail hour, which was perfect since it took so long to sample all of the amazing stations of food!

The reception room was so gorgeous, too. All-white flowers for the centerpieces gave the room a simple, yet elegant look.

The couple's first dance as husband and wife brought the room to tears - just as the music started, white snow began to fall from the ceiling. It was breathtakingly beautiful!

The night came to a conclusion with a tremendous venetian hour (definitely having one of these at my wedding!) and one of the best wedding cakes I've tasted in very long time!

Hotel accommodations were provided and there was a wedding breakfast the next morning for all those guests who stayed over. The couple made hotel boxes full of snacks, [hangover] essentials, and included an itinerary for the breakfast details.

All in all, I cannot say enough good things about this wedding! Future brides, take note!

Congratulations to the Neriweds!

As always, thanks for reading!
