Must Have Wedding Photos

Monday, November 24, 2014

So your big day is finally here! All the details are set and you are ready to walk down the aisle to marry your best friend. One of the most important details, in my opinion, is hiring an amazing wedding photographer. You must make sure to hire a great photographer who should be with you every step of the day to capture all your precious moments on film.

Aside from all the traditional shots like walking down the aisle, exchange of vows/rings, first kiss, first dance and cutting the cake, I've included a few of my favorite must-have day-of photos. Just a heads up - by "a few," I mean 50 to be exact... oops!

So before you put your dress on, you need a full length shot, preferably in front of a window to get some light reflecting through it...

And then you need a picture of Mom helping you button up the back...
Tip: for a long row of buttons, use a fork to help pop them closed!

Once you're in your gown, you need a full length shot from behind...
(other angles too!)

Be sure to have your photographer change it up and take some black and white or sepia shots, especially for the more intimate moments. It will give you more options to choose from later on!

PS: Give this list to your wedding photographer to make sure he gets all the perfect shots of your wedding day!
