So Disney's Cinderella hit the box office this past weekend. Although I haven't seen the movie yet, I'm definitely feeling inspired! The love affair that exists between a woman and her shoes is one that most men will never understand. Choosing a wedding shoe is probably one of the most important things on a bride-to-be's to-do list! Why? Well, for starters, the perfect pair gets its own photoshoot!
As always, BBG has your back with a few tips for choosing the perfect wedding shoe!

1. Do You
A Jersey Shore phrase that has never rang more true! It has been (and still is) popular for brides to fulfill the "Something Blue" tradition with their wedding shoes, but these days brides are wearing everything from cowboy boots to Converse! The wedding rulebook has been totally thrown out the window on this one!

Brides are using their shoes to express their personal style and to reflect who they are as people. Even though they will be covered up by traditional white fabrics and no one else might see them, you will know they are there - and that's all that matters!

2. Get Your Heel Height Right
When it comes to heels, you might be leaning towards something with a thick platform and tall stilettos. But be sure to consider your hubby's height when choosing your shoe because you definitely don't want to be towering over him in all your wedding photos!

Also, be sure to get your shoes early as they are an integral part of the alterations process, which is usually done months before the wedding. Your dress will be hemmed to your heel height, so keep that in mind when you are wedding shoe shopping!

3. Have a Back-Up Plan
If you're anything like me, you definitely want to have a back-up plan when it comes to your wedding shoes. Why? Because we all know that the words fabulous and comfortable are not always synonymous. So you're going to want a pair of flats or flip flops when you're ready to hit the dance floor!
